The Black-Granger family had its start in the slums of the Moridebo district on Coruscant, when unmarried lovers Anthony Black and Sharna Granger combined their surnames with a hyphen for their first child, Greg. After they moved to Kathol and married, Anthony and Sharna decided they would give the hyphenated surname to all their children.
