Vincent H. Lytear (born Y-41, Day 352) is the former Director of Imperial Intelligence. He took office in Y10 at the completion of the merger between the Galactic Empire and New Imperial Order, but later in Year 10 he stepped down from the Office of Director and Executor Cherokee appointed then Governor Inwe Ventidius the new Director of Intelligence while Vincent took the "back-seat" as Deputy Director for a time before also relinquishing this position due to family related issues. Previously, Lytear was the Director of the New Imperial Order's Imperial Intelligence from early Y10 to merger and Army Commanding Officer of NIO from late Y9 to early Y10. He was also a former naval officer within the Galactic Empire during the reign of Emperor Charon.

Early Life and Schooling
Vincent Lytear was born in Lianna City, Lianna, the son of Kelen (née Karsati) and H. Aldous Lytear. He was raised in the Posh District and attended several private grammar schools. He continued his secondary education at Belmar Academy, a university preparatory school where he became involved in student politics. In his 11th year he was Vice President of the Student Body and became President in his 12th year.
In Y-24, he was accepted into the Melford (First) Star Academy and graduated in Y-20 with Honors, being commissioned as an Ensign in the Imperial Navy.
