Tannis homeworld - Kuat. |
Tannis grew up on Kuat. His mother and father was in the ship-building industry, involved in Kuat drive yards, were they both held prestigious positions on the company board. His parents were both strong believers in the new order. Tannis was strongly encouraged and groomed by his parents to join the Imperial Navy. In addition to all the glory and honor his parents wanted him to receive from such a prestigious posting, it was also for them a very strategic and political move. As they believed it, it would be very beneficiary to have a family member high up in the ranks of the imperial navy.
Ever since a little boy Tannis had played with models of ships and fancied flying among the stars. He always liked the big ships the most, as he could stare at the old Venator class star destroyers for hours from the old holo-recordings depicting the Clone war.

As Tannis already was performing duties and had a good reputation within the Empire he was assigned to a special operation. He was tasked with being the Imperial Military's Liason towards Kuat Drive Yards. His mission was to asses and try out the new vehicles developed by Kuat towards the Empire. He really enjoyed this specical assignment since he already knew his ins and outs of Kuat Drive Yards and ofcourse was so fond of ships and flying. The Days turned into years however, and Tannis got more or less permanently installed at Kuat since Imperial Command really thought Typho was doing a really good job with the evaluation process.
Re-Entry into active Imperial Military Service
All good things must come to an end however. At the end of Year 23 the need arose again for competent Naval Officers to fill the ranks of the Imperial Navy. Tannis was called back into service.
