Sorn Thano is a twenty-four-year-old Recruit in the Imperial Academy who hopes to one day join the Imperial Army Armored Corps. He is currently being trained by Captain Irrilyn Mai.
Biography
Sorn was born on Imperial Navy Coruscant Defense Base No. 00045, one of the first Imperial Navy bases on Coruscant. His father was a Petty Officer First Class in the Imperial Navy Medical Corps, and had originally served in the Clone Wars on the Venator-Class star destroyer known as the R.S.S. Supremacy, but was then transferred to a new successor to the large destroyer, the H.I.M.S. Supremacy-A. Soon after his birth, Sorn's father left the Imperial Navy and became an officer in the ISB as a Coruscant Police patrolman. However, he soon re-joined the Navy and received a commission as an Ensign on the H.I.M.S. Supremacy-B. He rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a Lieutenant Commander, yet he died after a proton torpedo from an X-Wing hit exactly where he was standing in the Medical Bay. At the funeral, Sorn vowed he would join the Imperial Military and avenge his father's death, by any means necessary. However, he had a fairly standard childhood, eventually graduating from Emperor Trey I Memorial School, the most prestigious high school in his district. Soon after graduation, his mother died after falling off of a platform on her way to the family antique store (due to the lack of railings) and Sorn had to seel the shop. Heartbroken, Sorn turned to drinking and after a wild night out, he accidentally stumbled aboard a transport speeder. It brought him to a small Army installation, where the soldiers cleaned him up recommended he join the Imperial Military. And so he did, and is currently in the Imperial Academy training to join the Army.
