Pre-Imperial History
Childhood
Born early into Year -3 on the Outer-Rim planet of Cadomai Prime, Elsyn is the eldest child of Ordas Tandar and Zahra Voss. Like most fringe worlds that were isolated from Imperial rule at the time, living standards were rather low and financial stability was difficult to come by, the Voss household was able to maintain some level of stability during these times as Elsyns father, Ordas, owned and operated a Droid Repair store in a nearby major settlement. As a child many of Elsyns earlier years were spent at the store rather than at her family home so that her parents could continue to provide financially, it was here she learned basic droid repair and programming skills alongside other more mundane life skills, which she would use to try and help her parents with the day to day running of the store.
Personal recollections provided by Elsyn indicate that at some point during her adolescence, she was gifted an ID9 Seeker Droid that was in dire need of repair by her Father, this apparently became a personal project to repair the droid which she had undertaken and claims took her a number of years to see to it's fruition.
Some years later, around her twelfth year, Elsyns family expanded when Zahra gave birth to her younger sister, Marika Voss. It was at this point that Elsyn would take on more responsibility at the store alongside her father to allow her mother time to raise her sister through early infancy, reinforcing Elsyns family values that she had begun to cultivate.
Tragedy Unfolds
In Year 13 Elsyns life would be thrown into turmoil as a tragedy befell the Voss household. To this day, Elsyn refuses to elaborate much on the events of what happened, but public reports and eye witness accounts dated from the same year that were recovered by Imperial archivists are able to build a some what fractured picture.
On Day 173, for unspecified reasons Elsyn was away from the store and Zahra Voss was working alongside Ordas in her stead, all was unfolding as usual until roughly 22:47, it was at this time where eye witness reports recall a trio of speeders pulling up outside of the store in quick succession, the three armed assailants are then reported to have entered the store, where around 5 minutes later a volley of loud blaster fire was said to be heard coming from within the store. The three assailants were then seen to be fleeing the store with large bags that seemed to be filled with unknown contents and leaving the scene on speeders.
The files available that were recovered state that the assailants were never successfully identified due to a lack of evidence, the case was eventually closed in Year 18 by the local governing bodies and moved to a cold case archive where it remained untouched.
A Sister, A Mother
With no one else left to look after her younger sister Marika, it fell to Elsyn to take up the role of parent. Being far too young to run the store alone and her duties of care to her sister being priority, Elsyn was forced to accept whatever pay-out on the store and assets contained within that was offered by the local government. While this somewhat allowed her a brief respite financially, after a few months the households funds dried up and Elsyn was in desperate spot. It was at this point Elsyn reportedly spent a number of years roaming between the surrounding settlements offering droid repair services on a door to door basis, often seen with her baby sister in a papoose slung around her back wherever she went.
Life remained a struggle for Elsyn in the years to follow, barely making enough to feed herself and Marika, often choosing to feed her sister over herself when things were particularly tight. Eventually as the pair grew older and Marika was able to stand on her own and be more independent, the sisters were able to re-establish themselves somewhat in the local market after saving enough money to purchase a small lean-to which they were able to run their repair service from on a more permanent basis.
Broadening Horizons
Several more years passed for the sisters, and Elsyn was now growing quickly into a young adult able to provide a much more stable life for herself and Marika. Reports also show that at some point Elsyn was also able to regain ownership of her old family store from the local governing body and had set back up here. During this time with the galaxy rapidly expanding, Elsyn had began to hear of tales and rumours of the Galactic Empire and it's prosperous rule over an ever growing hold in the Outer-rim, including that of the neighbouring system of Lur in the Aparo Sector.
It wasn't until late Year 24 that Imperial influence finally made it's way to the Cadomai system. But once it had made it's way to her planet, Elsyn was quickly swept up in the propaganda, and along with the years of positive hearsay it seemed like it might be perfect opportunity to provide her sister with a better life. Hesitant at first, it wasn't until Elsyn saw first hand the improvements that the Empire had brought to her planet, including improvements to security and reduction in crime that the Empire was able to provide that she eventually enlisted to join their ranks. Being part of the first waves of new recruits coming from the planet, Elsyn and her sister relocated to the planet of Prakith, where the Imperial Academy was located and where her Imperial Career would begin. Deciding to cut ties with her past, Elsyn sold off the store and her family home before leaving for Prakith.
Imperial History
Imperial Academy
Elsyn quickly settled into her new duties as a student at the Imperial Academy on Prakith, the structure and safety of Imperial life was a huge improvement over her childhood. Now she was able to safely entrust her sister into the care of her peers, for the first time Elsyn was able to experience the independence she'd missed out on. Between lectures and practicums Elsyn reportedly spend a fair amount of her personal time honing her skills with a blaster, to which she developed an acute aptitude for. She also took to frequently be seen on hikes through the nearby jungles and forests.
It was clear as time went on that Elsyn was beginning to show a natural aptitude for several traits that aligned with the the Imperial Army; Skill with a blaster, natural leadership capabilities and an acute perception, and it was no secret that she planned to apply to join the Stormtrooper Corps upon graduation. After years of living an impoverished life in a crime ridden city, Elsyn wished to personally do her part to ensure that Imperial Law was enforced in the hope she could help others avoid having to suffer the way she did under the protection of the Empire.
Time at the Academy passed at a swift pace for Elsyn, and she quickly found herself rising to be considered a star student under Officer DuMontes tutelage. Eventually earning her first accolade of what was hopefully many to come through a successful career, Elsyn graduated from the Imperial Academy Day 266 of Year 24 with Honours.
Imperial Stormtrooper Corps
Deployment to Amber Region
It was almost a strange twist of fate that freshly appointed Second Lieutenant would find herself setting course back towards a familiar region of the outer rim. Assigned to the Task Force that oversaw the military activity in the Amber Region; which as of recent major events now included her home world of Cadomai Prime, Voss set course with an eagerness to get stuck into active duty to the Task Forces HQ in the Dromund System. Aboard an academy allocated Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle, Voss spent the majority of her travel time to HQ getting acclimated with a number of military command directives to ensure she was able to hit the ground running upon arrival. The rather cosy amount of space left little room for the Second Lieutenant to do much in ways of physical training, mostly leaving her to perform aerobics and exercises that didn't require equipment where she could. She made sure to check in with Marika on a daily basis; who was due to head back to Amber aboard a civilian transportation some time after Elsyn had departed. Elsyn had managed to make arrangements to have Marika live with her at the central military station where she would be housed for now while on active duty. Eventually Elsyn hoped to acquire proper housing back on Cadomai Prime or one of the planets within Dromund for her sister to live more permanently, but that would take time.
Towards the end of her hyperspace journey, Second Lieutenant Voss would receive a holocommunication from Commodore Surizal Jakohr, who was the Training and Communications Officer of Amber Task Force at the time. This communication was to brief Voss on the details of Operation: Training Day that would act as her introduction to the Task Force, as well shore up any gaps in her knowledge and ensure she was fit for active duty on the field. Doing what preparations for the Operation she could before arriving properly to HQ, Voss spent the remainder of her journey making sure she was ready to commence duty.
Following a brief period of introductions and gearing upon arrival to Dromund, Second Lieutenant Voss reported to Commodore Jakohr where she began Operation: Training Day. Her initial assignments under the Operation saw the Second Lieutenant scouting through a number of Asteroid Fields for any Rebel or hostile contingencies alongside the Commodore. Piloting her assigned TIE/sr Starfighter with a squad of Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wings piloted by INSC members, the pair of officers dispatched a number of small pirate remnants that were hiding out among the debris of the fields. Sweeps continued for a number of days before this phase of the operation was brought to a conclusion. Moving to a ground phase, Voss and Jakohr proceeded to perform a number of patrols of several locations on █████. During patrols the pair discovered a splinter group of Ex-Imperial Dissenters attempting to make preparations for a hostile coup of a nearby local governing body. Lead by Second Lieutenant Voss, a small strike force was sent to infiltrate their facility and quell the situation, and after a suffering few causalities, the splinter group laid down their arms and surrendered, after which they were handed over to local police forces to face punitive actions. With the Operation complete, Voss was now cleared for official duty within the Task Force and begin her career in the Imperial Military.

Operation: Forbearance
Following a loss of communications within the system of ██████, the entirety of Amber Task Force was recalled with priority from all current operations to respond to the ongoing threat at large. On deployment in the nearby system of Nicht Ka, Second Lieutenant Voss quickly forwarded the order to her active platoons to withdraw from the battlefield and return to the Mace. Once preparations were complete, the CR-90A Corvette entered hyperspace, communications where then forwarded to Task Force Command to establish an arrival time to join up with allied forces.
Arriving within the day at the designated staging area, Second Lieutenant Voss was finally brought up to speed with the full severity of the situation. Reports on the severity of the incursion on Imperial space by currently unknown hostile force indicated that the enemy had managed to land a planetary assault force on █████ and had seized control a Skyscraper within a civilian area. In addition initial reports also indicated a small blockade close to the planet was stationed to attempt to halt Imperial reinforcements from launching a counter attack.
With the Task Force brought up to speed, orders came from Task Force Command to begin an assault on the blockade to eliminate all hostiles and re-establish orbital control of █████. Making a coordinated jump to multiple points within the system, Amber Task Force; spearheaded by Navy Officers performed a pincer manoeuvre on the enemy blockade, approaching from multiple directions leading to a swift and decisive victory. Second Lieutenant Voss, not usually accustomed to space combat supported the strike from the rear echelons, the Mace took a number of blows which lead to it's shields on the verge of critical failure before hostilities ended. The blockade dismantled and the planets orbit under Imperial control once again, phase two of the Operation began with the two branches; Navy and Stormtrooper Corps, splitting to perform their respective roles. The Navy secured the orbital defences and employed a blockade of their own to deny hostile forces from sending further forces to the planet, while also denying an escape path to planet side enemies. The Stormtrooper Corps were instructed to descend to the planet a short travel away from the annexed City and begin ground operations.
During the descend to the new staging area north of the annexed city, further reports provided by forward Reconnaissance forces were able to confirm the threat to be a contingency of Rebel forces that fielded a considerable army, including tanks, transportation vessels and a large number of ground troopers. It also seemed that the Rebel forces had become aware of the decimation of their space blockade as reports of civilians being held hostage began to come in. Shortly after arrival, Second Lieutenant Voss assisted with leading the charge aboard a squadron of AT-ATs alongside other Stormtrooper Corps Officers, lead by Lieutenant General Darthmoor. Encountering little resistance while pushing south, the Imperial contingency of Stormtroopers finally reached the designated city and began the assault on Rebel resistance. Taking significant return fire from the Rebels, a unique opportunity opened up for the Officers to hopefully make an impactful strike at the heart of Rebel forces. The Second Lieutenant alongside Lieutenant General Darthmoor focused their fire on a squadron of Saber-class Tanks, punching a hole in their defences leaving a Rebel transport attempting to evacuate their troops from the frontlines in a desperate retreat entirely vulnerable, which ultimately lead to their capture.
With the city now back under Imperial control, the Stormtrooper Corps then proceeded to storm the captured Skyscraper, clearing floor by floor with utmost caution to ensure the safety of Civilian life. Second Lieutenant Voss posted up her platoons on a neighbouring rooftop that allowed for clear vantage over each floor, equipped with Nightstingers her units were able to provide an effective overwatch of the squadrons performing the breach and search of the Skyscraper. The ascent was methodical and surgical in it's precision, but eventually ally forces were able to fully regain control from the Rebels that had entrenched within. Full ground control was reported back to Task Force Command and the operation was finally concluded. Imperial Peace was restored to the system of ██████ and the Rebel incursion halted. Returning to HQ, Second Lieutenant Voss provided a full report of her involvement of the operation.

Operation: REARM
Concluding a reorganisation of all Task Force Commands across the Military following a series of promotions and staff changes, orders came down from Military High Command to initiate an Empire wide logistical campaign. The focus of the Operation was to ensure that all Task Forces were aptly equipped with the necessary munitions and assets to be able to operate at full capacity, commencing with an Empire wide audit of all Task Force Assets to assess where improvements were needed.
Initially Second Lieutenant Voss was still detached on assignment for Military Command on Operation: Celestial Dominion when orders were distributed to all Military Officers about the commencement of REARM. Shortly after all Operations were placed on hold, it was at this point that she began her preparations to withdraw and return to HQ in Amber Region. Shortly upon arrival back at HQ, Second Lieutenant Voss was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant and was instructed to proceed to her newly assigned vessel, Arquitens-class Light Cruiser Dolovite to acclimate herself with her new quarter. Following this, Voss assisted Task Force Command with efforts on REARM by performing a full audit of her new vessel, ensuring that she was supplied with the correct accompaniments. Over the following days Voss spent the majority of her days within the various sections of her vessel, including the garrison; where she ensured that she had ample munitions stocked as well as the correct gear for all of her platoons. The hanger bay; where she had INSC staff perform a full inspection of all docked TIE fighters. Finally ending her audit on the bridge, where her assigned CAPCOM pilots performed a complete system check of the Dolovite, eventually clearing it for service once again under the First Lieutenants command.
Following the completion of the inspection on Dolovite, First Lieutenant Voss continued to aid efforts in Operation: REARM in a more logistical manner which included hauling a number of designated Stormtroopers between planets to be reassigned as needed, as well as assisting with the relocation of a large number of Imperial munitions. The Operation continued on for a number of weeks until finally coming to a close early into the new dawn of Year 25. Some time just shy of the Operations official end, First Lieutenant Voss was cleared to return to active duty, where she left HQ and returned to detachment for her previous assignment.
