The Second Imperial Fleet is was officially formed on November 5, 2005. The new Second was a merger between the old Elrood Defense Fleet and the original Second Imperial Fleet.

Was the 2IFs first commanding officer. Captain Dimitri Sephiroth was appointed as fleet FXO.
Captain Dimitri Sephiroth
Apointed after the Blockade of Commemor in the first quater of 2006, LTCMDR Dujaan Korr was promoted to FXO. Mid 2006 Commander Prijo Sacha joined the fleet as LTCMDR Korr left on an extended LOA.
