KORRIBAN (INB) — Today, Darth Virsunas, Dark Lord of the Sith, announced in privy chambers the capture and subsequent execution of the Krath Lord Nomak Drome. Fragments of the story were quickly picked up by several broadcast services, after which a full statement was released to the general public. In a well-attended press conference inside the confines of the Imperial Palace, the Dark Lord of the Sith disclosed details of a covert operation spanning several years, culminating in the execution of Nomak Drome, a Krath Lord and former second-in-command of the Krath government. "Too long have the Krath sullied our Sith traditions with their false claims and pathetic ideology," he was quoted as saying. "They hide behind the Galactic Alliance, but it will not keep them safe. The Sith will not rest until all of these pretenders have been hunted down to submit to the only true path of the Dark Side."

Initially sent to infiltrate the Order of Krath on an intelligence-gathering mission by Vodo Bonias, Lord Maximus Archer was recently brought in from the cold. After having remained with the Krath for several years under the guidance of the Inquisition, he was recently brought into contact with Lord Virsunas. Together, they began to develop a plan designed to prove Lord Archer's strength of conviction and help him earn his place in the Order of the Sith once more. Nomak Drome, having recently returned to the political and civilian arenas of the Krath, was invited by Lord Archer to become his apprentice in the Force. Drome was then successfully detained by Lord Archer and, after being subjected to lengthy interrogations by the Inquisition, delivered to the Dark Lord of the Sith in person. Meanwhile, in a private ceremony on the planet Korriban, Lord Archer re-affirmed his loyalty to the Order on bended knee.

The fallen Krath Lord was brought before the Sith Council and pleaded for his life, acknowledging the superiority of the Dark Side. The Dark Lord condemned him to die, a sentence carried out by the Lord Inquisitor, Darth Surra. Drome was beheaded with a single swing of a lightsaber in the halls of the Dark Temple on Korriban, suffering the same fate that befell the Jedi Azrakh Raleep. It stands as a stark reminder of the fate that awaits all those who oppose the rule of the Galactic Empire and cling to the foolish tenets of the so-called Light Side.
