KDY Announces New Leadership Member (GNS)

Unexpected news surprised the galaxy today when it was reported that Deputy Director Inwe Ventidius of Magnaguard Manufacturing would be resigning from her position as leader of the faction to take a position in the Kuat Society. While Ventidius will leave a nationalized faction of the Galactic Empire, she is entering a faction nearly as close to the Empire. Acting quietly behind the scenes, Dark Lord Myn Kuat worked with the highest levels of the Galactic Empire to offer Ventidius the position of second-in-command at Kuat Drive Yards. It is well known that the Empire and Kuat Drive Yards share a close alliance; with Kuat Drive Yards producing the Empire’s enormous fleets that are visible throughout the galaxy. Executor Cherokee has confirmed rumors that Ventidius’ moving to Kuat Drive Yards will only serve to strengthen the bond between the factions.

Departing from Magnaguard, Ventidius will hold the rank of Assistant Technician and take over as second-in-command of the galaxy’s finest ship building faction. When asked about speculation that she would soon take over as leader she declined to comment. If these speculations are correct, it will be a massive responsibility with the ever increasing demands for KDY technology.

Although unable to be reach for direct comment, Harken Keithel, current leader of KDY, issued a statement expressing his enthusiasm for the staff addition, “I have known Inwe for some time through our association with the Empire; I look forward to working closely with her now. She has a large responsibility to assume with her new role in KDY.” Some sources say that Ventidius has already begun working on behalf of KDY even during her transition from Magnaguard, fielding key orders and proposing program reforms that will make Kuat Drive Yards even more successful.

Owner of KDY and KSE, Lord Kuat of Kuat, cited a long history of close association with the Empire when asked about the reason for his choice. Several other candidates were considered, but according to Kuat the best decision was made. Reassuring clients and investors, Kuat stated that there would be no delays in ship production and that quality products and unparalleled service was still the top priority. Both the Empire and Kuat Society are excited for this association to increase the glory of the Imperial realm.
