Biography
Tyrren Montari was born on Coruscant along with his fraternal twin, Aspharr Montari. Born into the upper middle class, they were raised by their father, Darien Montari, a career politician, alongside their mother, Celeste Montari, a doctor. With no other immediate family to speak of, the Montari family was very close and the brothers were nearly inseparable.
In primary school, they ended up developing a reputation for being bullies, though it didn't take too long for their father to catch wind of and put an end to their antics. As a politician whose job was to show strength and never back down, their father understood their desire to portray dominance, however he also believed in a strong sense of moral and ethical behavior, which he did his best to impart on his sons.
Tyrren took his father's advice immediately and changed his image from that of a rule-breaking thug to a courteous member of their school's junior military program. He quickly rose through the ranks showing an aptitude for leadership, though he generally preferred action to command. Tyrren was a model cadet, always leading by example and never giving up a chance to be professional.
When he wasn't drilling with his fellow cadets, Tyrren could be found at a nearby repair hangar, assisting a family friend and shop owner repair various vehicles. It was through this part time job that Tyrren grew to enjoy repairing vehicles, and, although not as well as his brother, pilot them.
What the Montari brothers lacked in family numbers, they made up for in friends. Aspharr and Tyrren didn't have an entourage, but they never seemed to have trouble getting along with everyone, which can be attributed to their father's skill with words and his inherent charisma, both of which he passed on to his sons. Aspharr and Tyrren earned good grades, though they were never perfect students, and both excelled in athletics.
Upon graduation, Tyrren immediately applied and was accepted to the Coruscant Security Force. He spent his time patrolling his assigned sector, and proving to be an outstanding security officer. Although offered many promotions, he repeatedly declined in favor of field work which he thoroughly enjoyed. When an opening became available within the Tactical and Operational unit of the CSF, Tyrren immediately applied. His application was accepted, and he underwent the necessary training to become part of the SWAT unit. After serving with the unit for several months, Tyrren was offered the rank of Detective.
Detective Tyrren Montari |
It was during his tenure with the Coruscant Security Force that Tyrren's father introduced him to Ciatri, a fellow Coruscanti politician. Tyrren and Ciatri began dating and eventually Tyrren proposed. Ciatri agreed to marry him, and they were happily wed soon thereafter; Aspharr served as Tyrren's best man. Realizing that he now had a wife to care for, he took the transfer, and became a Detective. Despite the better pay and increased safety of the position, Tyrren started losing interest, and became generally unhappy with his day to day life.
Tyrren decided to discuss this with his father, who was the person Tyrren always looked up to and sought for advice, at least when his brother wasn't around. Darien Montari was a strong believer civic duty, and believed that it was every man's obligation to serve his government either through public office or military service at some point in their life. During the conversation, Tyrren asked about joining the Imperial Academy and Darien immediately supported him.
Strangely enough, Aspharr approached Tyrren with a similar topic. Tyrren felt it was time to give up his cozy job and make a difference. They decided to enlist into the Imperial Academy together. Although choosing different paths, the brothers felt they could take on the galaxy together. It wasn't until later that Tyrren learned his wife, Ciatri, had also joined the Academy and moved on into the ranks of Regional Government.
Appearance

At just over 1.85 m and 80 kg, he is extremely average in height and weight, although more toned than most. He has short dark brown hair from his father and light, piercing blue eyes from his mother. He has high cheek bones and a defined chin which he keeps shaven to a light stubble. Tyrren appears to have been sculpted specifically for military service.
Since joining the Imperial Army, Tyrren is almost always found wearing his uniform. On the rare occasions he is out of uniform, he prefers a jacket, whether it be part of a suit, or otherwise. He is also known for his habit of wearing sunglasses often, despite the day's weather; a habit he manages to repress while in uniform. Tyrren can almost always be found with a glass of whiskey when off duty. He makes it a point to avoid drinking too much, however he takes great enjoyment in fine liquors from around the galaxy, his favorite, of course, being Whyrren's Reserve.
Imperial Service
Imperial Academy
Tyrren enlisted in the Galactic Empire on Year 13 Day 66. He attended the Imperial Academy and studied under Assistant Dean Kent Amba. His time at the Academy was short and mostly uneventful, as he was a hard worker, finishing his assignments at a slightly faster than normal rate. Despite being away from his wife and brother for the first time in years, Tyrren worked his hardest and eventually graduated with honors. When asked about his experience, he recalls his promotion to Corporal. Summoned to the Heraldic Hall by his instructor, Tyrren has stated that he recalls standing in awe at the history of the room.
Imperial Army
After graduation, he was assigned to CLASSIFIED Brigade, and began his work in the Imperial Army as a Legionnaire. Upon the resignation of 6th Brigade's Executive Officer, Tyrren was appointed to fill the role.
