Description and Personality

Born on Coruscant, Santiano Salazar is an adult Coruscanti male, 23 Years old. He is of average human height [1.524 meters] and weight [86.36 Kgs] Santiano has black hair and brown eyes. Because he is Coruscanti and grew up in the galactic capital. He speaks Basic with the typical Coruscanti Inflection. His personality is quiet but friendly, at least to those he considers to be comrades.

Santiano is a fervent Imperial. His upbringing and education have lead him to become an almost fanatical Imperial loyalist who believes whole-hearted in what the New Order stands for. Being born in the closing days of the old republic and being a witness to the rise of the New Order. Santiano, though young, was able to see the positive changes this New Order was bringing to the galaxy. Embracing this new Empire was something his entire family did and has lead him to become the man he is today.

Santiano Salazar has several past times which he enjoys, one is gambling. Due to his cautious nature, Santiano does not take many risks. However, Santiano has found that through certain games of chance such as Sabacc and others, he is able to feel the same sort of rush one might get from more extreme ventures like speeder bike racing. Over the years Santiano has become a rather experienced amateur gambler.

Another Past time Santiano has enjoyed is the study of galactic political history. Santiano was privately educated by tutors and it is during this time that he became interested in history. Along with his own personal experience witnessing the fall of a republic and the birth of an Empire has lead him to take a keen interest in the political history of the galaxy. Due to his private education Santiano is also able to speak Huttese.

Before Imperial Service

Childhood

Santiano was born the only son of Anton and Imzadi Salazar. An upper middle class Coruscanti family. His family owned a small but successful local freight company on Coruscant. The income from the family business allowed the family a bit of luxury though not part of the aristocracy. His early years were spent at the family home or at the family's freight company. There Santiano would play around on the non operational craft. As he grew older, he would during his spare time assist in ship repairs and learn to pilot several ships and vehicles. During his youth Santiano would be educated by private tutors. It was through them that Santiano gained an interest in politics.

At the age of 11 Santiano, along with the rest of the galaxy witnessed the most profound change ever to occur in the history of human kind. The overthrow of the old republic and the birth of the Empire. Santiano's family embraced this New Order and became devout Imperial citizens. It was at this time that Santiano would start on his Imperial career, as he and his family would see as their destiny. He would serve the Empire and would start doing so in the Imperial SAGroup.

SAGroup, The beginning of Imperial Service

With the rise of the Empire came the creation of the Imperial SAGroup. This organization was tasked with providing the ideal environment in which Imperial youth would become the ideal citizens of the New Order. This organization provided several social benefits for youth and their families, It was an organization Santiano was eager to join.

Given his back ground and education Santiano was placed in a SAGed division. It was hear that Santiano as a youth got to know three people who would become close friends of his. These three friends of his were Han, Inge and Jean. Han was born on Corellia but had moved with his family to Coruscant and were looking to establish themselves there. He was also the youngest of the three. Inge was a young blond Coruscanti. Her family ran their own tailor shop in the Collective Commerce District. Jean was the oldest of the four. Like Santiano, Jean came from an upper class Coruscanti family.

The four would form a bond of friendship forged in their new duties in SAGed. They would study, hang out and relax together. Being assigned to SAGed gave the four a more academic role within the organization. Often being teased by the youth of SAGRec. Another division of the SAGroup that geared itself more toward the militaristic aspect of the New Order. The two groups would maintain a friendly rivalry with one another.

During most days of the week Santiano would continue his education by Imperial approved tutors, as well as carrying out various duties within his SAGEd division. Most weekends were spent with SAGroup and the various activities they would do. During their free time there, the four friends would often engage in a game of Sabacc. It was here that Santiano first learned and developed a talent for the game.

On one occasian, during his SAGroup's annual formal inspection. He was awarded with the Best Young Citizen award. An award given to a one youth from each division.

All Good Things...

At the Imperial Academy

"So, let me welcome you in the Imperial Academy, Recruit. Here begins your career in the Empire. Will it be a long and prosperous, or short and dull"

In year 11 day 154 Santiano Salazar began his studies at the Imperial Academy. His instructor was Flight Officer Ardath Lemeth. The initial confusion that every new recruit goes through was overcome quickly and Santiano pressed on his studies at the academy with the help of his instructor. At the academy, Santiano did very well on his civics and history studies and average in his military protocol studies. On year 11 day 162, Santiano graduated from the Academy with the average score of 89%.

Upon graduation, Santiano had thought about entering into the navy, given his background with piloting vehicles.In the end he decided to enter into the army because he thought he had spent enough time in space and that it would be nice to get outdoors. He decided to join the Imperial Army.

On year 11 day 163 Santiano Salazar, now a new Private, began his career in the Imperial Army. He was sent to army training camp where he was to learn what it means to be an Imperial soldier. He was trained in the use of the Empire's most modern weaponry. It was also there that he was first introduced to the the famous AT-ATs of the Imperial Army. After seeing the firepower of the goliath war machines, Santiano knew he we wanted to go into the armored divisions. His time at training camp went by quickly and once it was finished he was assigned to the [ ] Imperial Legion.

During these early stages he took up standard duties with the legion, patrol duty, guard duty. combat patrols. He was cutting his teeth on the ground and working his way through the ranks until he could request to be assigned to an armored unit. His wish came true quickly as after a few short months he was allowed to leave to be trained as an Imperial Army Pilot.

The training was very difficult, It was not physically demanding, but the technical know-how needed to operate and maintain Imperial Armor was very demanding. Santiano did not mind, his dream of finally operating the AT-AT had come true. and after a few months he was now a qualified army pilot. He was assigned back to his legion and began his new line of work in armor.

Santiano was happy to be back in his old legion, when he arrived however, he found some of his old friends had been promoted, others had left or had died in combat. There were a lot of new guys who had come in and replaced them. IT was not long after, that an old friend from his early days in the legion had returned from reserved duty. Santiano and his good friend Felix Stones were once again comrades on the battlefield. Stones is a a very good, if not headstrong, Imperial soldier. Santiano often has to remind Stones to calm down, or behave himself, but Stones often says Santiano needs to "lighten up a bit"

Santiano Is currently serving in the Imperial Army. His Legion and brigade are classified.
