Tyrren Montari (born Year -8 Day 73) is a Coruscanti male, currently serving as a Corporal in the Imperial Army. He is the brother of Aspharr Montari and the husband of Ciatri Montari.

Character Background

Tyrren Montari was born on Coruscant along with his fraternal twin, Aspharr Montari. Born into the upper middle class, they were raised by their father, Darien Montari, a career politician, and their mother, Celeste Montari, a doctor. With no other immediate family to speak of, the Montari family was very close and the brothers were nearly inseparable.

In primary school, they ended up developing a reputation for being bullies, though it didn't take too long for their father to catch wind of and put an end to their antics. As a politician whose job is to show strength and never back down, their father understood their desire to portray dominance, however he did not believe their humiliation tactics were the right way to do so.

Tyrren took his father's advice immediately and changed his image from that of a rule-breaking thug to a courteous member of their school's junior military program. He quickly shot up the ranks showing an aptitude for leadership, though he generally preferred action to command. Tyrren was a model cadet, always leading by example and never giving up a chance to be professional.

When he wasn't drilling with his fellow cadets, Tyrren was almost always found at a local garage, assisting a family friend and shop owner repair various vehicles. It was through this part time job that Tyrren grew to enjoy repairing vehicles, and, although not as well as his brother, pilot them.

What the Montari brothers lacked in family numbers, they made up for in friends. Aspharr and Tyrren didn't have an entourage, but they never seemed to have trouble getting along with everyone (surely their father's genes at work!). Both earned good grades, though they were never perfect students, and both excelled in athletics.

Upon graduation, Tyrren immediately applied and was accepted to the Coruscant Security Force. He spent his time patrolling his assigned sector, and proving to be an outstanding security officer. Although offered many promotions, he repeatedly declined in favor of field work which he thoroughly enjoyed. It was during his tenure with the Coruscant Security Force that Tyrren's father introduced him to Ciatri, a fellow Coruscanti politician. Tyrren and Ciatri began dating and eventually Tyrren proposed. Ciatri agreed to marry him, and they were happily wed soon thereafter; Aspharr served as Tyrren's best man.

Darien Montari was a strong believer civic duty, and believed that it was every man's obligation to serve his government either through public office or military service at some point in their life. During a conversation with his father, Tyrren asked about joining the Imperial Academy and Darien immediately supported him.

When approached by his brother about life, Tyrren felt it was time to give up his cozy job and make a difference. They decided to enlist into the Imperial Academy together. Although choosing different paths, the brothers felt they could take on the galaxy together. It wasn't until later that Tyrren learned his wife, Ciatri, had also joined the Academy and moved on into the ranks of Regional Government.

Character Appearance

At just over 1.8 meters and 81.5 kg, he is extremely average in height and weight, although more toned than most. He has buzzed brown hair from his father and light, piercing blue eyes from his mother. He has high cheek bones and a defined chin which he keeps clean shaven at all times. Tyrren appears to have been sculpted specifically for military service.
