Commander Nikolaus "Niko" Ephranor (Born Year -14, Day 155), is currently serving the Galactic Empire as the Group Commanding Officer of the 1st Group, 2nd Imperial Fleet. He also serves as the Director of the Imperial Gaming Commission.

Imperial Service
Imperial Academy
Nikolaus Ephranor entered the Imperial Academy on Year 11 Day 122. Always a great student, he blew away his Professors as he graduated with honors later that day. Niko joined the Imperial Navy as a Crewman in the 7th Imperial Fleet.
7th Imperial Fleet
As a Crewman in the former 7th Imperial Fleet, Niko served under some of the greatest members of the Imperial Navy, including Markus Saretti, currently the Executive Officer of the Imperial Navy. Here, he learned the basics of being a great pilot and serving the Empire.
Nikolaus rose through the ranks quite quickly while with the 7th Fleet. He also made bonds and connections with many other Imperials that would last throughout his career.
7th Group, 6th Imperial Fleet
After the Imperial Navy reform, the former 7th Imperial Fleet became the 7th Group of the 6th Imperial Fleet. There, Niko continued to server under Markus Saretti, eventually becoming the Group Executive Officer. Upon the transfer out of the Imperial Navy of the then Commander Miguel Arandano, Niko was assigned as the Group Commanding Officer of the 7th Group.
Niko organized and oversaw a great deal of success while the GCO of the 7th Group. Unfortunately, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Upon news that his mother, Avandari Ephranor, had grown fatally ill, Niko decided that he needed the option to attend to this matter. Thus, he had to give up his position as GCO, and in turn retired from the Imperial Navy altogether.
Imperial Intelligence
Upon his return to the Empire, Nikolaus decided to experience all that it could offer. He applied for a position within Imperial Intelligence, for which he was accepted. The details of his work in Intelligence are few, but it is rumored that he served well as he has done in his other positions.
A few short months after his transfer to Imperial Intelligence, Nikolaus was asked to return to the Imperial Navy as the Commanding Officer of the 1st Group, 2nd Imperial Fleet. Due to the circumstances surrounding the vacancies in command of the 1st Group, Nikolaus accepted and returned to his home in the Navy. He continues to serve as the 1st Group Commanding Officer.
