Raffael Goschmitt is native from Tatooine. His father, Karl Goschmitt, is a military scientist and is specialized in designing new ship technologies to the Empire; he served in the Army while he was young, however, he was transfered to the Ministry of Industry due to his loss of his right eye and lack of combat skills. His mother, Stephanie Goschmitt, is a comerciant and housekeeper. Both of them are, in every way, pro-Empire, and that is how their children was raised.

Raffael's childhood was very tough, when it comes to discipline. Karl, especially, taught him well about hierarchy, raising him in the same military way that he was. With his father as a ship designer, Raffael grown up hearing about ships almost everytime, and also looking to the designs and preparations. It wasn't a coincidence that the little boy quickly got fascinated by the ships and how do they work, and, with that, it wasn't much of a surprise when Raffael joined the Imperial Navy years later; that's basically what he was raised for.

Raffael follows his orders with such determination it's almost cold; it doesn't matter if he's to patrol or target, the effect on him is the same. He ensures that the mission will be completed - and if he can perform the mission even better than ordered, he will. Racist against all the non-human species (making few exceptions to humanoids, like the Zabrak), he's pro-Empire and pro-war, always eager to his next mission.
