Commodore [[Adam Diggins]] was the first commanding officer of the 6th Imperial Fleet. The 6th Imperial Fleet, comprised of the 6th Group, is assigned to the Corporate Oversector located in the Outer Rim. The fleet serves as the backbone of the Empire's defences of its far-flung sector. The current wing deployments of the 6th Imperial Fleet include the 671st and 672nd Wings.

The Groups of the 6th Fleet

6th Group

The 6th Group was formed on Year 8 Day 276, as the 6th Imperial Fleet. After the merger of the Galactic Empire and the New Imperial Order, they were assigned to Corporate Sector where they served as the backbone of the Empire's defences of its far flung oversector.

The 6th Group is lead by Commanding Officer Lieutenant Commander Dratt Darkstar and Group Executive Officer Lieutenant Junior Grade Luke Winslow.

The mission and mandate of the 6th Group is to protect the Imperial Worlds of Imperial Corporate Sector and provide security to all class of Imperial citizens living within.

The group most recent achievements are the destruction of a large pirate cruiser in Dromund system that was trying to prey on local space traffic, as well as the discovery of a smuggler outpost in Athiss system, later destroyed with an heavy orbital bombardment.

The 6th Group is also know as the “Imperial Eagles”. Their Motto is “Order through Strength of Arms”.

The 7th Group is lead by Commanding Officer Vice Admiral Markus Saretti, and Group Executive Officer Lieutenant Junior Grade Serena Moon.

The mission and mandate of the 7th Group is to protect the Imperial Worlds of Imperial Corporate Sector and provide security to all class of Imperial citizens living within.

The group most recent achievements are the destruction of several pirates corvette in the Nicht Ka system and the humanitarian rescue mission of Lothretom Outpost on Kalsunor after a terrible lava flood.

The 7th Group is also know as the “Widowmakers”. Their Motto is “Discipline, Courage, Honor”.

Past Activities

Y16 D137 - D148 Operation Abyss

A training exercise run by 6th Group, simulating a Group-size taskforce countering a smaller but more mobile Rebel force operating from a fixed base. Leadership experience was given to group members, and the Group was able to respond rapidly to a changing situation, dividing into small groups or reforming to concentrate fire against threats as needed.

Groups

The 6th Group—nicknamed the Imperial Eagles—is commanded by Rear Admiral Adrian Althalus and his executive officer Captain Dace Rendall. Their motto is “Order through Strength of Arms”.

The 7th Group—nicknamed the Widowmakers, was one of the groups in the 6th Imperial Fleet until the Naval reforms in Year 15.

The 12th Group, now defunct, was one of the groups of the 6th Imperial Fleet in Years 12 and 13.
