Kathleen Tate (born Y-4 D144) is a combat veteran of the now defunct Imperial Army, currently a High Colonel serving in the Stormtrooper Corps from an alternate universe. Formerly a federal agent within Imperial Intelligence, and formerly of Imperial Security Bureau (under both COMPNOR and II versions). Before the start of her law enforcement and intelligence career, Tate started out in the Imperial Army (now Stormtrooper Corps) where she obtained the rank of Major and was XO of the now defunct 6th Brigade, 3rd Imperial Legion under command of General Nathaniel Durane. However she was never allowed to continue her career which was putting her on track for military command, as The Agency had other plans for the naive and young female Naboo.
Tate being the enigmatic personality she is, has never been one to tip-toe through the tulips. Being the authentic person she is, she is often direct, to the point, and generally doesn't spare feelings. This has led to a number of negative interactions with Imperials, who misinterpret her directness as some form of insult. However Tate usually skips the pleasantries and just likes to get down to business. Learning it is better not to waste time with vain words and get straight to it. Having low tolerance for hypocrisy, gross incompetence, and people with massive egos, Tate often employs humor, in the form of banter to point out hypocrisy and make known her refusal to brown-nose anyone of high standing, learning it is better to show someone your worth than to just talk about it with vain words.
Prior to her acceptance into the Bureau, which was under COMPNOR at the time, Tate served in Imperial Intelligence, attached to IICOMD as Chief of Military Intelligence, and as a Intelligence Sector Liaison for various Imperials sectors. In her conscientious service as Chief of DMI, Tate was appointed as a pro tempore member of Imperial Intelligence Command.
Before taking a year off to work on personal projects, Tate was a full member of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order. She has served as the Director of Imperial Art Society, overseeing the Imperial Identification Bureau and the Imperial Graphics Division, and as a Holonet Administrator for Imperial Holonet Services, overseeing the technological and communications infrastructure for the Empire.
Tate is also the recipient of the coveted COMPNOR Medal of Progress in her service as System Administrator and Director of Imperial Art Society, for being the brainchild of and developing the auto avatar and award rack system that is still in service today.
She is also a person of wealth. She gained her riches in wise investment moves, saving up her salary, etc. Today she is a multi-billionare, who owns a planet filled with cities.

Tate received a commission in the Imperial Army through the Imperial Academy Basic Training Program after graduating with full honors and has served in the Imperial Army since Y15. She began her career in the 6th Brigade commanding the 10th Reconnaissance Battalion "Cobra". Shortly after she was appointed Executive Officer of the Brigade.

Imperial Intelligence
Around the same time of her appointment to Brigade XO, she was approached by an Imperial Intelligence recruiter who had monitored her career from the time she graduated. She was offered a chance to apply for an opening as an Intelligence Officer under the Department of Military Intelligence. Although at the time she was very young in the Empire, only having a few months of service, she was granted a special waiver by the Throne to obtain a Secret security clearance. This clearance level allowed her to apply to II and serve in a part-time capacity.
Tate was soon enrolled in a long recruitment process that required her to complete many exams and go through a series of long interviews and polygraph tests. She soon learned that II's claim of being the hardest branch to gain entrance into was not exaggerated. After completing the recruitment process to the satisfaction of II, Tate was accepted into the agency on Y16 D64.
Tate spent most of her time in the Army doing training exercises and other tasks required for the Brigade. At the same time she served as Intelligence Officer under the Tapani Sector Command. While working for DMI she quickly began developing a number of innovative changes aimed at improving the quality of service II provided to Sector Commands and expanding the role of Intelligence Officers assigned there. For her ongoing work to improve DMI, she was selected by the Ubiqtorate to take charge of the department and to start enacting her proposed changes, making her the first female Chief of Military Intelligence.

OP: REDITUS (AKA CorSec Debacle)
Shortly after Tate's return from hiatus, the Director of II at the time, Jett Blackheart contacted Tate early one morning regarding the betrayal of Neria. The Emperor requiring someone he implicitly trusted during a time of uncertainty and suspicion, appointed Tate acting-leader of CorSec in order to secure the faction for the Empire, asses damage, and assist in recovering stolen assets and territory. The entire operation took 60 days and required a large team comprised of elements from the military, regional government, Order of the Sith, and Imperial Intelligence that Tate coordinated efforts with, from within CorSec. With the rest of the faction secured, and permenant damage minimalised, Tate under the orders of the Emperor turned over command to MInd veteran, Walter Watts
Commission for the Preservation of the New Order
Imperial Art Society
During her time as Chief of Military Intelligence, Tate had her eye on the seemly defunct Imperial Art Society. Whilst already a member of the Imperial Development Team, Tate joined the ranks of the Imperial Art Society. She served as Deputy Director, but after the previous Director went inactive, Tate took the initiative to become Director and get things back on track. Shortly after, Elvira Falston began working alongside Tate, to finish projects and assist her in various other roles. Under Tate and Surra's auspices, IAS saw the introduction of auto-ribbon rack generation, for which Tate was awarded the COMPNOR Medal of Progress, as well as new avatar frames, new branch logos, and auto-avatar generation, in coalition with the Imperial Development Team (IDT). Tate has spent her time in IAS automating a lot of the mundane processes, improving Imperial artwork and preparing the next generation of artists and IAS personnel to take on the artistic challenges of the Empire without impedance from the routine tasks that used to be the department's responsibility. Daniel Ascarion of IDT was key in making all the automation possible on the technical side.

Imperial Security Bureau
After a year Tate retired from Imperial Intelligence and joined the Central Government full-time, working for the Imperial Security Bureau. After a month of training she was posted as the Kuat Sector Liaison. Tate served unimpeded until the sector reorganisation came into effect, after which she was then appointed Ruby Region Liaison. Another major change happened after the appointment of Lord Seele as Galactic Emperor. ISB was merged into II as an independent bureau directly under the control of the recently re-established Deputy Director of II position.
A New Life in the New Order

Late in Year 17, Tate was elevated to Tudor security clearance by the Throne, reaffirming her fidelity and their trust in her. Though under the mirror Empire's Security Clearance Policy, she would see the loss of that clearance eight years later in Year 25.
Fall of the New Republic and Crossing Over...
Shortly after the fall of the New Republic in Year 21, then Agent Tate was tasked by then Director of II, Inwe Ventidius with going over the mass amounts of intelligence that was gathered from the take over. However during the course of her work, Tate suffered a massive seizure and was immediately rushed by medical transport to the med-bay of an ISB VSD in orbit, where she slipped int)o a coma and was placed inside a bacta tank for four years, until Year 24 Day 358. However doctors and ISB officers who were called in once Tate awoke, were shocked when they noticed her appearance had visibly changed. It was discovered Tate caught a mutated strain of the Derra virus which did not change her species, but changed her DNA to bring out genes that were dormant that controlled skin pigmentation. She had gained a noticeably dark complexion, and her hair, once blonde and straight, became black as night, and kinky, almost like the pure wool.
After a thorough medical examination, Tate was surprisingly cleared for duty. However due to the time in which she was unconscious, Tate had missed a lot. Many changes happened in the galaxy and within the Empire. Because of this, she was not cleared to return to II work, at least until a probationary period of six months were complete due to a policy that did not exist before... Even more strange Tate awoke to find members of Class C species wearing uniforms of branches that were once Class A only such as Imperial Intelligence. Tate was a little disturbed by this, but made an effort not to make a big scene... Tate was also unnerved at first to find out her Tudor security clearance had been revoked and reduced to Restricted. Still a little dazy, she thought this was some form of punitive action, until she realized this version of the Empire has a slightly different SC policy.
Soon it became clear to Tate that she was not in the Empire she had once been in before her coma. It was a very strange, bizarre and upside down galaxy. The Empire being very different, no longer the strict, harsh Empire she once was in, where specism and sexism were common. A dark and shrewd place now turned upside down. Even the rank plaques were different. She realized she had crossed over the dimensional boundaries into another universe...a mirror universe. And now with no clear way back to her home universe and being transferred out of The Agency, she would go on to serve this Empire, this mirror Empire, going back to the branch where she started in, though in this universe it isn't the Imperial Army, but the Stormtrooper corps under the Imperial Military.
